Hello lovelies
How have you been , I hope all is delicious and you are enjoying the love you share with your awesome men.Well Hon & I have been so busy with me trying to finish an e-book and hon working towards the deadline for a major project he's working on.Needless to say this is giving us little time for connection.Of course some will say with social media how can there be little connection,yes there can be little connection.Phone calls ,Facebook, Twitter, everything is great but nothing beats one and one,a touch ,a kiss,a pat on the tush and the looking at each other with sweet eyes.
Mmmmmh just thinking about this makes my toes curl.You know what they say when your toes curl the love and sense of attachment
is in the blood and it feels like rich honey.Oh so sweet.
This last weekend we decided that we wanted to stop take a few moments to kind of "play in the sand" to stop everything to catch up,to lean back and immerse ourselves in each other.To solve some hot button issues which we have been dancing around and not handling.
Sometimes that happens,when it does one of us has to step back and re prioritise. This time hon did.When he came back from his trip,he called and I did not reply right away,I was too busy arranging a bridal shower,watching my grand kids and following up with rewrites in my ebook.
Hon wasn't too pleased,he sent me a text with just "What's up No return calls"? I thought ouch! I replied,sorry hon.
He then called and said we had to arrange to spend some time together unwinding and being into each other.
I asked him to suggest this time what to do.He said why not go to the park and play. I was like omg what a brilliant idea then I boost his ego again I said you are a genius and a problem solver ,yet getting in touch with our inner child to play , play which was not part of our sexual romps or pillow fights.I loved the idea.
We agreed that we would go to a great park,enjoy nature and just talk without distractions,not focusing on the outside but on us and our feelings.
I anticipated our day on Sunday, I found the right little casual outfit that made me look playful,sexy and appropriate for our ages.I had blown dried straight hair which swung loosely which I knew he would love.
When he came by, he couldn't take his eyes off me nor me off him.After he and my son exchanged hellos we got in the car and headed for one of our more relaxing parks,A beautiful park with cherry blossom trees, flowers basking in all their glorious colors,ever greens and rolling grass and all under blue skies and gently warming sunshine.. The scenery was so breathtaking ,a reconnection to nature.
We found a table and bench .We embraced,We sat beside each other ,we kissed slowly and deliciously like teenagers,We leaned into each other .I laid back with my head in his lap.We laughed,we chatted,We caught up on personal things.Confided in each other about business associates and how we felt about some related stuff. it was awesome.We sorted out some personal stuff which we had misunderstandings over.
I cannot say enough how much I love the man I call my man,Another reason always listening to me when I speak,even if it is expressing what I am not liking about something he said or had done and perception of it.. I guess too that he is responsive more fervently as I sprinkle praise within the talk of what it is that is bugging me. he listens ,he lets me speak without judgement.He then says what he feels,apologies if needs be. This means so much to me. I love it.
Anyway back to our day in the park fun.We decided to sit in the swings and swing and swing. It was freeing for our bodies and soul.Hon really made me test my fear limit, He pushed my swing way high, I screamed like a wild animal.It was fun though. We walked around,watched people and their kids,We took pictures of the beautiful trees. We took pictures of ourselves goofing around. It was sweet.
Wow it was really rejuvenating, when we checked the time four hours had elapsed,We couldn't believe it.Our stomachs could though. They were saying feed me. We decided to go have an early dinner at one of our favourite restaurants and of course one he knows I love.
Dinner was great. We then left and he drove me home. It felt so awesome.
When I thought he had reached home,I sent him a text saying thanks again for a magical day of reconnection to earth and our love. I enjoyed you. He text back I enjoyed you too and you looked great. I sent back thanks hon you looked delicious. And of course he did look and felt delicious to the touch and taste.
It's these little moments of reconnection that take our breath away and bring us back to what's most important loving each other.
