Hope your weekend will be a bit happier for you than hon and mine will be. We are so sad because one of Hon's best buddies passed away while on vacation from Pulmonary Edema.
We are devastated and so are his wife and family. Let's call the friend Bill for the sake of privacy. Bill and his wife have perhaps a typical relationship where over thirty years ago they met, fell in love,had their kids attained great professional life and achieved the elusive to most of us the great"american dream"
He was able to retire early and a couple times a year he ,hon and other buddies travel doing the man thing on golf trips especially during winter.Anyway when hon told me that Bill had gone away Golfing,I kind of found it odd that hon didn't say he was going too.Instead hon say he was preparing for his business trip which is two weeks ago.Allowing him to be making his own decisions I didn't question it.
I remember after Bill left, hon had called Bill's wife to say hi and to see how she was doing,All seemed well.
So when hon called me earlier to say he is in deep shock and devastation because someone had passed, I could not believe my darned ears when he said it was Bill. I screamed out "no freaking way",this guy seemed as fit as a fiddle,could dance the whole night away,gregarious ,fun loving and fit as ever.
Curious I asked hon what killed Bill,he said he heard that it was Pulmonary Edema.Pulmonary Edema is described as "fluid accumulation in the lungs, which collects in air sacs. This fluid collects in air sacs in the lungs, making it difficult to breathe. It leads to impaired gas exchange and may cause respiratory failure" Source -Medical News Today.
.Anyway the bombshell - you guessed - Bill was away in the exotic local with his woman, holy crapito I said.I couldn't believe Bill was cheating on his wife.Hon goes "darling no judgement" I don't care just curious :)) Women intuition.
Don't know if it was just a fling or long term relationship. Hon won't say and since he is so distressed I will not press.Would not be appropriate considering the shame and humiliation on his family.What I know for sure as Oprah would say,I did not know of her,always saw him with his wife.
"Ms thing" I heard was the one who called his family,I wonder how she feels in all of this.
Anyway guess it is not for us to judge sometimes "white picket fences and financial resources" don't mean real happiness.as that comes from divine connections which include respect and valuing what is more important in life.
Guess Bill thought that stealing love on the side just to get some forbidden vaggy was worth risking marriage and all.
Guess he didn't factoring Mr.Death. Oh well, guess he died doing what he felt was delicious & important to him.Let's say "Forbidden fruit" Just saying.
Just wondering though was it in the act of doing the wild thing? MMMh!!! what a ride home to the other side that must have been for him!
Live and love clean people because we will never know.
Going to the gym now,
