This Week In Our Story - He Said "You Caught My Attention & You Have Managed To Sustain My Attention

Hi friends are you still hot from world cup fever? Oh yes I hate this round though when some of your favourite teams have to face each other and get eliminated. Like the Ghana /USA game, too bad for US and today Britain lost to Germany.Anyway my son pickd Germany to win it all so we will see.

Anyway back to my favourite topic talking about my favourite man in the whole world. We both have been very busy and I love my independence ,I am not a clinger and neither is he. So he called and missed me. He then called back in the evening but I had the Life Insurance people over taking my blood and urine re my policy. So I could not talk. Told him I would call him in two minutes.He said okay,said he was sitting in our park ahhh! that is the park close to his home where we walk to to play and chat like kids.

Anyway I was done with the Insurance guy who had over heard my less than a minute conversation. He said to me "is that your boyfriend if you do not mind me asking" so I said "yes". He said "stay with him" and very curiously I said "why would you say that". He replied "just because of how easy your conversation sounded" yes girls be soft on the outside and think like a man.Combine your sweet gentle outer, with a pragmatic mind it is powerful.
I said to him "I will take what you say under advisement". This Insurance guy is a strong 74 year old retired head nurse,still happily married after 40 years go figure!
As soon as he left I called "My Man" we started talking then out of nowhere he said "Darling you caught my attention then, out of so many and you have managed to sustain it after all this time so powerfully,you are in my bubble and i have included younow in so much of my world etc." he stopped talking for a bit ,there was a pregnant pause,can you believe I was at a loss for words? hard to believe but I was not expecting that in the middle of our sentence totally unrelated.I felt joyful hearing that though. Guess he realised this ,he responded to an earlier question -how his mom was as she had been hospitalised.
Mom is doing much better but he remains the sweet son visiting her making sure she is fine. They say you know how a man will treat you based on how he treats his mom and he certainly treats his like a princess,nothing is too good for her even at age 93.
Well if that is the case I will be here for a long time with this man.

Got to run, too much soccer to watch and Wimbledon -have a great week girls and keep soft and think right.
